Questions to ask when looking for a puppy?

  • Always get references and follow up by checking them.
  • Be comfortable with the whelping service or breeder. Ask about their plans for the future. 
  • Your breeder should be there for the life of your dog and you should feel comfortable contacting them anytime.
  • Get a sales contract with a health guarantee against any health clearances the parents have been tested for.
  • Visit the breeder/whelping service directly, if possible.
